The Swiss clock

Slash 2's mostly come in black, some are white, but rarely grey. This R69s nut and bolt restoration does not disappoint.

I first came across this series 2 in 2015, I'd recently discovered BMW's after years of thinking they weren't for me. What was I on?! Smooth, elegant and plenty of power for the hills of San Francisco, Mount Tam and the rest of the Bay Area where I've enjoyed many days ion this pristine example Bavarian two wheeled civilization. Everything has been restored to how it was when it left the factory back in 1961. Powder coated frame, all fenders and bodywork color matched, new stainless exhausts with stock headers, complete engine rebuild including the dreaded oil slingers, stainless steel hardware, new seat plugs electric harness and battery. Rebuilt Weinman Aluminum wheels and fresh Heidenau tires. No expense spared. A real gem, and a very useable time travel experience for the occasional rider as well as the daily commuter or the world traveller. Extras include detailed list of works carried out recently, Denfeld two passenger bench seat, original color matched rear fender luggage rack, original tool kit /BMW shop rag, original owners' manual and workshop manual, a selection of collector books and 1 year membership to the BMW Vintage owners' Club.
